One of the keys to selling a home is staging. With the right staging and the right photographs, any listing can stand out online.

I’m often asked by sellers if staging really does help homes sell. In my experience it does, and I always recommend it. Here’s something that happened recently that proves this point.

We had a property that was on the market for over a year with a bunch of different Realtors. We got an appointment with the seller and recommended a few new strategies, including staging. We started by listing the property for $5,000 less than the previous Realtor listed it for when it didn’t sell.

After that, we staged the property and took some new photographs. This was the key to the whole process. We got so much activity on the listing that we ended up selling it for $10,000 more than the asking price, which was $5,000 more than the price it didn’t sell at.

"We sold a property for $10,000 above asking using staging professional photos."

All we really did was change the photos and stage the property. We had multiple buyers come in and mention that the property seemed brand new. In reality, we just helped these buyers have a better idea of how to use the space. It was exciting and we got some great feedback, mostly about the staging.

If you have a home to sell, I always recommend staging it. If you have any questions or want to know what we would do to help your specific home sell for top dollar, give us a call or send us an email. We would love to hear from you.
